About the role

Reporting to the senior management team of Marbral Advisory, you will have two strands of responsibility - Change Management with an eye for Business Development.  

The change management element of the role involves ensuring our clients’ change initiatives deliver the benefits they expect, through increased adoption of change.

 You will focus on the people, behavioural and cultural side of change, including:

·       Changes to business processes;

·       System and technology;

·       Job roles;

·       Organisation structures;

·       Skills.

You will typically support teams and individuals in integrating change management initiatives into their project plans, to increase benefit realisation, value creation and return on investment.

You may also be required to help build change management skills in others through coaching, and delivery of skills building sessions.

The business development element of the role involves contributing towards the growth of the business. You will be hyper-connected and keen to spread the good word of Marbral’s work and initiatives at any given opportunity. You will also be developing market-leading products and services by proposing and pitching for work through formal tenders and ad-hoc proposals.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

·       Develop new products and services and build strong project teams, delivering successful change brought about by new systems, regulations, product development and/or organisational transformation;

·       Apply leading change management processes and tools to create strategies to support adoption of the changes required by projects or change initiatives;

·       Manage one or multiple work streams and produce quality deliverables against tight deadlines;

·       Manage junior teams to deliver against client objectives;

·       Conduct impact analysis and assess change readiness;

·       Develop learning and development strategies and initiatives to build talent and skills within organisations;

·       Define, design, develop and deliver training;

·       Support the design, development, delivery and management of communication campaigns;

·       Work with a range of stakeholders, and be considered a subject matter expert within client organisations and by colleagues alike;

·       Act as the main contact between the client and Marbral Advisory on key accounts - developing trusting and lasting relationships with clients;

·       Contribute to the growth of the business by networking and leading the creation of professional tenders, proposals and presentations for clients;

About You

·       At least seven years' consulting experience in a professional services organisation, working at a senior consultant level within one or more of the following areas:

o   Change Management

o   Organisational Design

o   Culture Change

o   Communications

o   Learning and Development

o   HR Strategy and Operations

o   Project Management

·       Experience and knowledge of project and change management principles, methodologies and tools

·       Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts

·       Strong business acumen and understanding of organisational challenges

·       Experience of managing client relationships and a small team

·       Change Management qualification and/or project Management qualification

·       Problem-solving and root-cause identification skills

·       Digitally minded and keen to stay up to date with the latest tools, technologies and apps

·       Strong data analysis skills

·       Strong IT experience – advanced level with MS Office packages and ability to use / adopt apps as required to meet customer and internal needs

·       Highly motivated and dynamic

·       Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

·       Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal

·       Forward looking with a holistic approach

·       Able to work at a fast pace and remain calm under pressure

·       Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
