Creating an effective change network
Duration: 2.0 hours
Ideal for: Anyone looking to introduce change within their organisation, typically at a senior level.
Learn how to build a network of skilled ‘change agents’. Experts in their respective business areas, but equipped with change management tools too.
It’s becoming clear that the most successful change efforts take focus, effort and a little ‘magic’ to encourage individuals to transition to new ways of doing things.
Even in the most sophisticated organisations, understanding how change is introduced and embedded, and who is in the best place to do this can be a tough question. Is it the Project Manager’s role? The Change Management team? How can you leverage key individuals within the ‘business’ to encourage others to change their behaviours too?
In this short session, we will look at key change roles that you should consider with any change effort to give you the highest chance of success. Join us to look at what the roles are, what kind of people you want to ‘recruit’ into them and some of the most common pitfalls to avoid.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Describe the essential components of successful change
- Identify the four key change roles in an overall change network
- Determine the ideal types of individuals to recruit into each of the roles
- Set clear expectations for everyone in your change network
