We helped visualise the 'current state' business architecture of a leading global Bank
We were contracted to design a visual representation of the ‘current state’ business architecture for a financial services firm.
The work incorporated the different layers of the operating structure of the business, including people, products and services, technology and data. We then gathered information into a single high-level view, which could be used to support senior level discussions in relation to their Target Operating Model.
What we did
We undertook this project over 3 stages:
Stage 1: Taking individual segments of the business, we built a review of the layers mentioned including gathering data relevant to this segment. We then presented our findings to a small group of stakeholders and refined.
Stage 2: We added remaining business segments views using the same format, approach and definitions and then communicated these findings to their various stakeholders and refined.
Stage 3: We collated all information into a single presentation, including related pre-reading and added relevant comparisons and market insight to highlight areas for discussion.
The outcome
Our engagement is still ongoing.
