The Change Project

The last few years have seen a huge amount of change in our professional and personal lives. We established ‘The Change Project’ as a way of sharing free, bite-sized learning that anyone can access when and how they want to.

There is a lot of content in books and on the internet on this subject but we have taken this content, added in our combined professional experience and condensed it into practical things you can do that will help you to take positive steps in this ever-changing environment.

All our content is available for free. Please view our tutorials on this page and download our take-away sheets. As an ongoing CSR commitment, we will continue to add to the free resources on this page and develop the content you need to help you through change.

The Vision

To share our change knowledge and experience to empower others to cope better in times of change.

“Change is the only constant in life”

Who are we?

Dawn, Sasha and Nancy are professional Change Architects who have a wide range of real life change experience having led change in a number of different organisations in UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands, across a variety of industries. They are passionate about the people side of change, ensuring that the transition between endings and new beginnings is as smooth and stress free as possible.

Nancy Thomas says: “Accepting change, whether I’ve instigated it myself or experienced it as something that has happened to me, has been a truly empowering experience, both in my work and personal life. I hope that sharing some of that knowledge will enable others cope with and manage their change experiences.”

Sasha Ogden says: “Change is exciting, you’re letting go of the old and encouraging the new, I want people to have a positive outlook on change because what you are changing today will impact your tomorrow. I hope that The Change Project creates an awareness and inspires people to build on their own change management tool kit.”

Dawn Rutherford says: “Having over 30 years of experience of working in the change profession, I have learnt techniques to manage myself and others through change reducing the stress and anxiety it can cause. We know that people are struggling being able to cope with the amount and speed of change at the moment, so we set up The Change Project to share some of our learning and help others to better manage change in their personal and working lives.”

With special thanks to our focus group participants who helped bring all this together: Katie Grant - Intertrust Group, Maria le Tiec - Ports of Jersey, Luis de Oliveria - Seymour Hotels.
