Creating a winning strategy for the 'tell us once' project
The purpose of the project
Our Principal Consultants devised a business case and supporting strategy for a public service department that led to the mobilisation of a programme that included the introduction of a project management framework, recruitment into defined programme roles and the prioritisation of projects.
What we did
We developed project prioritisation criteria and plans enabling the mobilisation of “quick win” projects in numerous areas. Additionally, we led the development of service design principles and criteria, benefits realisation plans and strategies for data management and communications.
We also wrote and executed the procurement strategy and related tenders. During this engagement our consultant initiated the “tell us once” business project and oversaw the development of cross departmental processes to enable the delivery of interim quick wins, such as the collation of all internal and external bodies new business forms into one.
This project was completed on time and on budget and as a result of their satisfaction with our help, expertise and support, further work was later commissioned.
