The purpose of the project
We were commissioned to benchmark testing capability across a whole group of companies, in order to shape their Target Operating Model for testing.
What we did
We began by identifying the testing risks that they were carrying as a consequence of their current practices and then benchmarked the quality of their delivery, providing root-cause analysis insight into specific live incidents (some of which necessitated reporting to their Regulator).
We put in place plans to mitigate risk and prevent failures reoccurring. We provided test consultancy in-line with their existing tool base – e.g. JIRA. In collaboration with our client, we also developed their target state and a plan to move towards it, based on the agreed understanding of their current situation.
The outcome
We completed the project on time and on budget and on the back of this success, further work was commissioned.
